We are looking for someone who has experience of technical documentation, preferably from the train or vehicle industry, with a passion for technical writing. You probably have an academic degree in engineering or may have fulfilled a information technology education and have high levels of technical understanding.

Our company mostly works in the train business with long and large assignments in collaboration with the customer; therefore it is important that you feel comfortable in your role as a technical communicator, take own initiatives and enjoy working with other people. You enjoy customer contact and is a person who is his own project manager, control your own work but also has the ability to lead others work. You are communicative, follow up activities and leave nothing to chance. You have a lot of energy and are a positive person who also has the ability to transfer energy to your colleagues.

We are looking for someone with broad experience in electrical design, preferably from the rail industry or the automotive industry, with thorough knowledge and large commitment. You have great interest in technology, university degree or equivalent. The work involves the development of electrical design for example, rail vehicles up to 400 volts above all power to the lighting, ventilation, door systems, information system and more. Other examples could be the development of test equipment.

You have great interest in technology, university degree or equivalent. The work involves the development of mechanical designing of different parts for rail vehicles. This includes the interior of the passenger vehicle, complete cabs, door systems, ventilation systems (HVAC), parts of vehicle bodies and bogies, couplers and more.

TD RAIL INFRASTRUCTURE LOOKS FOR:
Light rail and railway competences Read more →Hide →
Travel Design is broadening it´s business towards the rail infrastructure sector and is looking for people with experience from light rail systems or railway infrastructure. Your background is either overhead line systems, traction power supply, trackworks or project management within railway or light rail construction and you may have worked as a design engineer, field supervisor or technical project manager within rail construction or workshop and depot. You have at least five years experience, good knowledge in relevant European standards and have a great interest in the technology. You are good in communication with people.
The task you may be assigned to work with will be dependent of your experience and background but typical works may be interface management, field inspections and controls, writing of technical specifications, technical and commercial procurement support for customers.
